Africa
Indian trade with Africa is older than most Indian companies. Merchant families crossed to the East African coast long before any treaty, and their descendants now run the shops and distribution houses that Indian brands depend on. That inheritance makes the continent an easier sell than its reputation suggests, and the shared history means fewer strangers across the table. It is also uneven: fifty-four countries, five working zones, and payment risk that varies sharply between them. The common rule is to get paid properly first and let terms follow history. This hub covers the four anchor economies, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt and South Africa, with the agreement status and entry conditions for each.
